2000 Elko National Basque Festival Program
The official program from the 2000 Elko National Basque Festival, held 1-2 July 2000. This was the 37th year of the Festival. The Festival Theme was "Old Traditions in a New Millenium." Special guests for the Festival were Old Country sports figures Miguel Saralegi, Kristina Saralegi, Daniel Vicente, and Jose Antonio Loiarte. Also included is a brief summary of Basque origins and the Euskal Herria--the Basque homeland--by John M. Ysursa.

The Festival Theme was "Perserving a Culture," celebrating the Northeastern Nevada Museum's "Amerikanuak! Basques in the High Desert" exhibit. The sports competition featured exhibitions from Old Country stars Zelai, Inaki Beitia, and Felix Etxeberria.
